  • Summary

  • Our world is experiencing difficult times, especially as we all shelter in place at home. The lives and livelihoods of many in the LGBTQ community are at risk admidst the COVID-19 crisis. Cal Poly students are learning remotely from around the globe. We have created this podcast to provide a community and grounding space for members of the Community. This podcast will follow 5 fictional LGBTQ and allied Cal Poly students, and their experiences during the pandemic and the movement for black lives. The podcast is set in a time after COVID-19 when the students will be reflecting on their experiences. Following each episode we will have a discussion about campus resources, related to issues brought up in the podcast, available to students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Though these featured resources are focused on student life, there are important takeaways anyone can apply as we power through these tough times. Join us every other week for a new episode.
