Dave has been working in procurement for over a decade and has firsthand experience with the common issues that many job candidates face today, AI Bias. While AI is certainly a game-changer in many industries, it's not helping candidates find new roles. Almost 90% of employers use filters or ranking systems in their recruitment systems to select potential candidates, and these systems are hindering our recruitment efforts. Even when a candidate meets all the requirements, they are overlooked due to keyword mismatches.

But, despite the importance of skills development in procurement, there has been a substantial and long-term decline in the volume of employers that regularly train their teams. Rebecca has over 20 years of experience working in procurement and she believes that
procurement plays a crucial role in driving the growth of every business. She thinks that
procurement should lead the way in innovation, act as disruptors, and foster stronger
internal partnerships. According to her, the key is to do things differently rather than
becoming obstacles to innovation, making her the perfect person to answer the burning
question: Is procurement a blocker or a facilitator?
