Welcome to Part XXXIX of our series on understanding counterfeit identity!

The Holy Spirit empowers us to get through anything that we face. In this episode, you get to hear one of the prayers we prayed for this series before a day of recording. We pray that this opens your eyes to any situation you or someone you know may be in and that it will be a part of breaking free from any bondage and fear of not surviving.

People who are peaceful in the face of danger or able to be happy in a time of despair, have a relationship with God…Brandi explains further.

Culture doesn't get to decide what's true or not true. Truth is made absolute (unchanging) by God. Culture makes you unstable by telling you one thing, but then doing another or bending it to fit their desires…God isn't a trickster. No matter what you've been through, God's purpose for you still stands and you can have it. Brandi explains walking by faith. Never give up, you're not a mistake…you're special and unique. Only God gives/shows you your identity. Ask Him for it.

Gaslighting goes hand in hand with brainwashing and they create codependency. It takes a lot of inner healing to truly be free…it's not enough to be physically away from an abuser, every bit of your being is affected.

"The Taken" are people whose lives are hijacked and controlled. Brandi shares more on how any and all pulls toward her captor were demonically driven. Ways that this group should be recognized and addressed in person to person interaction are discussed.

Brainwashing plays a major role. "The Taken" are victims of both human and demonic control. They can also appear as another archetype. Brandi gives a personal example of just how quickly the takeover can happen. She shares some of the tactics used on her to put her under more control to bury her independence and self-esteem that much more (the Brain Drain series is centered around her story).

Welcome to Part XXXV of our series on understanding counterfeit identity!

"The Occupied" is the third archetype of the Vessels. This person is aware of something (demon, spirit, ect.) being within them, but they either feel powerless or else they simply don’t know how to get freed from the spirit(s) attached to them. They are driven by what they don’t want to do and feel tormented and unable to stop it.

Without having God as your protector, the demons will continue to run you into the ground despite any attempts of distraction or business.

Brandi introduces "The Occupied's" subtype, "The Taken." This variant of the occupied is a person who is a victim of someone/something else’s blatant control over their life. It's Enslavement. Brandi shares how she was a part of this group during every part of her life in captivity and how demons would target her. She follows that up with some of her childhood experiences with demons (she was never taught about them growing up).

Welcome to Part XXXIV of our series on understanding counterfeit identity!

The second archetype of the Vessels is the "Wanderer." This is a person lacking stability because they are driven in many different directions by multiple entities that take turns exerting influence on them. Shawn shares forms of how this type of demonic possession can be misdiagnosed as a mental disorder. Brandi explains how spiritual warfare (demonic attacks) swoop in on mental instabilities. Their goal is to stunt your growth and not reach your real purpose, identity, and calling in order to keep you from making a difference or having impact. "Haunted Houses" are actually full of demons, not ghosts.

Hear how demons like to "play" with people and appear in various forms to gain your trust or to scare you. They target you when you're vulnerable, but also to make you even more vulnerable. Despair and despondency are beacons to them. They hate you.

And, "The Occupied" are introduced…

Brandi explains the process that demons use to counterfeit your God given authority and how that makes a close relationship with God imperative on that level as well. Shawn shares some of the subtleties that are used on the person to become a "Deal Taker" and why they are effective.

Hear how demons use the small compromises to go into the bigger ones…It's all about twisting, counterfeit, and your destruction. God doesn't make deals, trick, or control people. He doesn't try to alter your identity, He pursues you to restore your identity from the wounds of traumatization so you can have freedom and happiness.

Brandi continues by sharing examples of her abductor tormenting her when the demon wasn't in complete control and what demons feed on. She follows up with a specific story where her abductor went into the demon's control and nearly stabbed her with a Bowie Knife.

Hear how she was protected despite the circumstance and how the possessed don't know or remember anything while the demon is fully in control. She also shares some of the lies demons continuously push on you until you believe it and live in it as truth. You have a calling and they will do anything to derail you and cause you to live the most miserable life.
