Part One of Our Interview with the Legendary Artimus Pyle

  • Summary

  • What an absolute pleasure it was to interview Artimus Pyle.  He gets into his early years, his (very young) intro to the drums, the loss of his Dad at a young age, how Charlie Daniels and the Marshall Tucker Band led him to Skynyrd, recording Saturday Night Special, which was his first time in the studio with the band, his tremendous respect for Rodney Mills, his friendship with Bob Burns, and how he, Rodney and Kevin Elson rescued Street Survivors and helped turn it into one of rock's most incredible albums.
