Il a passé 10 ans en Haïti comme missionnaire au service d'une population digne et courageuse. Mais depuis quelques années le pays tout entier et Port au Prince en particulier s'enfoncent dans le chaos à cause de milices qui se sont emparées du pouvoir. C'est contraint et forcé que le p. Benjamin a dû partir gardant l’espoir d’y retourner pour terminer ce qu’il y a commencé.
