  • In this episode I talk with my daughter about her experience writing her first book. We took on the project as an outside the box approach to dealing with her struggles in reading and writing. Both struggles are hard on their own, but in a family with a strong reading culture, it was really causing problems with her self-esteem. I talk a bit about how I met her needs during this process so that from start to finish it built up her confidence. Along the way she discovered that hey, she did like reading after all.
