    Jan 10 2023
With the start of a new year comes so much talk about resolutions. Lots of us set these, often a bit blindly or based on what the masses are doing/suggesting. In more recent years we've seen a lot of backlash to resolutions, especially on social media. While we are still consuming content that pushes for us to set these "goals" or resolutions to be different.  But what exactly is a resolution, and what does it mean to us?  Are resolutions good or bad? How are resolutions different from intentions? We dive into these questions, and more. And share our own personal perspectives on resolutions, and intentions.

  • Episode 14: Stress is a Choice....
    Sep 26 2022
This episode dives into the huge topic of stress. Stress has basically become a baseline for so many of us, and consciously or unconsciously we are just accepting this. We are choosing to live in a state of stress. Stressful events, and stressors are usually not a choice. But how we respond to stress, and whether we hold onto it is a choice. This is not meant to be a shame trigger. Most of us have not been shown how to move through, and release stress. We have not been taught how to regulate our nervous systems. Our culture loves to glorify stress, and busyness. But as conscious beings, we don't think we are just here to live in a heightened state of reactivity. Know that you deserve to feel aligned, and at peace. Even amongst the ups and downs life hands us.  ***This is not professional advice, simply a perspective. There are so many effective tools available to help us learn to deal with, and release stress. Please talk to a health care provider, or a professional if you are feeling overwhelmed by stress.
