One Success Beats a Thousand Failures

“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Don’t be afraid to fail. There is no one anywhere who has accomplished anything of significance without first making a lot of mistakes, miscues, and blunders.

Each time we try and fail, we have to get back up, dust ourselves off, reflect, review, reevaluate, make a new plan and try again.

It is said that Thomas Edison went through nearly a thousand different designs before he succeeded in creating his light bulb. In his mind, he didn’t fail 999 times. He learned 999 ways not to do it.

The great thing about success, is that it makes our previous failures completely irrelevant! No one cares how many times Edison failed. We only care that he succeeded.

One success beats one thousand failures.
