  • Welcome to the first teaser episode for On Storytelling. This teaser is entitled, On projects.

On Storytelling is a new project by Robert Young. Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways of communicating between humans. We are each susceptible to judgement, prejudice, and assumptions. Sharing stories brings us closer together. It helps us understand. It helps us reach out. It helps us grow.

Each episode of On Storytelling will explore the stories of being human. The stories can be whatever you want. Mundane, exciting, passionate, explicit, bizarre, heart-wrenching, or just plain old common. Whatever we want. The point is to share and grow closer together. The pandemic has driven a wedge into society that is greater than ever before. We live in a world that is getting smaller and smaller, but we feel as separated as ever before. To that end, I want to share life with you. I have many stories to share - don’t worry, I will be partaking as well! Future episodes will feature anonymised stories from myself, and you the listeners. I will be posting edited, written versions of the stories on the On Storytelling website where you can read them as well.

This, first story, is out now to read along side this podcast at www.onstorytelling.co.uk. Future episodes will also feature written versions of the featured stories on the website.

We are always wanting to hear your stories. You are what makes this project special. If you would like to submit a story contact us on Twitter @OnStorytelling, or visit our website at www.onstorytelling.co.uk/contact.
