The Flying Pig is presented in a 3 15/16" x 60 ring gauge vitola, a favorite amongst cigar enthusiasts worldwide. The unique shape is based on a photograph of an 1895 cigar salesman’s size-selection case and is one of the most complicated vitolas to manufacture due to the size and signature pigtail, which requires specialized training.
The Barrel-Fermented Flying Pig features the same blend as our other barrel-fermented cigars, so tasting notes—think: hickory, charcoal, and fresh earth—are the same although you can expect a smoother smoking experience due to the larger ring gauge.
