  • Summary

  • Dive into the Ningaloo Marine Park on a journey of discovery with Ningaloo Outlook.

Ningaloo Reef is the largest fringing coral reef on the west coast of any continent in the world. It’s over 300km long and is home to rare and beautiful species, including the magnificent whale shark.

So what can we learn from the reef, and how do we keep it protected?

Join hosts Georgia Clark and Mya Wilkin from Edith Cowan University as they explore the fascinating research taking place in the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Marine Park. In this interview series, you'll hear from Ningaloo Outlook project lead Damian Thompson, marine ecologist Mat Vanderklift, post-doc researcher Anna Cresswell and PhD students Logan Hellmrich on the ecological wonders of the World Heritage Area’s reefs and its shark and turtle populations.

This series is co-produced by CSIRO and Woodside.
