  • Vesna Vulovic holds the Guinness World Record for surviving the highest fall without a parachute. She was working as an airhostess in 1972, when an explosion in the luggage hold, tore apart the plane sending Vesna into a 33,333ft fall. 
    She managed to survive the crash but was badly injured. After 15 months of rehabilitation and surgeries, including 10 days in a coma, Vesna was able to go back to work.
