    Karl Howman is best known for playing Jacko in the sitcom Brush Strokes from 1986 to 1991, Mulberry in Mulberry from 1992 to 1993 and Buster Briggs in EastEnders from 2014 to 2016. As a writer, his first book, Secret Spitfires, went to paperback from hardback in 2022; he also co-directed and produced the film of the same name. His second book, A Million Ways to stay on the Run which he co-wrote with Donal Macintyre, was a Sunday Times bestseller in early 2023. The audio book, which is narrated by Karl, won the Best Audio Book 2024 at True Crime Awards .

    Will Eaves is a British writer, poet and professor at the University of Warwick. He began writing for the Times Literary Supplement in 1992 and joined the paper as its Arts Editor in 1995. He left in 2011 to become an Associate Professor in the Writing Programme at the University of Warwick. In 2020, he judged the Goldsmiths Prize and was a Visiting Research Fellow at Merton College, Oxford. In 2016, he was a Sassoon Visiting Fellow at the Bodleian Library. He has written five novels, two books of poetry, and one volume of literary essays. For for book Murmur, Eaves was shortlisted for the Goldsmiths Prize and won the Wellcome Book Prize. He has given talks, seminars and readings around the world and has appeared several times on BBC Radio 3’s The Verb, with Ian Macmillan, and on BBC Radio 4’s Start the Week and Open Book. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. His book The Point of Distraction is out now and you can preorder Invasion of the Polyhedrons any time. It’s out at the end of October 2024 .
