  • With our hair comes a sense of pride amongst other feelings and it most of all gives us a sense of identity. We discuss different aspects of taking care of our natural hair and the challenges we face in our day to day life.

    About Gold Butter:
    Wendy and Callie founded Gold Butter out of their personal passion for curly and coily hair. They have been natural ourselves for over 5 years and have tested many different products, tips and tricks on their own hair. This way, they have been able to build up a lot of expertise over the years. They wanted to tackle the misconceptions about natural hair, specifically the myth that it’s difficult. This is how Gold Butter was born.
    Gold Butter is a company that focuses on the care of coily and curly hair. They use organic ingredients that guarantee good care for your hair. Moreover, they want to show that the care of curly and coily hair does not have to be complicated.
    Specifically, they are currently developing 2-in-1, a leave-in moisturizer. This moisturize will not only moisturize your hair, but also soften and define your curls.

    Wendy:
    Wendy is co-founder of Gold Butter and a businesscoach for diverse female entrepreneurs. She’s passionate about natural hair and female entrepreneurship.

    Callie:
    Callie is a chemist and currently getting her PHD in chemistry. She’s been passionate about natural hair for years now and has always dreamed of using her scientific knowledge to create hair products.
