great yarn,

The Copelands had an amazing life. Their father, wow. I don't know how I would feel if my father was a spy, I think I would take it the same way Stu did.
Almost like the Amazing adventures of Munchausen.

Great patches

I listened to this right through immediately as an admirer of The Police's percussion and enjoyer of spy stories. The anecdotes are amusing and diversions entertaining, but I suppose I hoped for some more anecdotes from the spy's life. It would have been awesome to hear more from the books mentioned, instead of the editorializing and pop philosophy. Entertaining overall, and a bit of a primer on modern Middle Eastern history into the bargain.

A Great Yarn.

So entertaining and enlightening. I was on the edge of my seat for much of it. I loved the spy stories and history and also learning about the family dynamics. I found myself envying their childhood.

Fascinating and well told

I really enjoyed these stories and insights both into what was going on in the middle east and America's involvement and into Mile's unique character and how it was growing up as the children of a spy

Intriguing

Fascinating to learn about this story. Very well put together . An insight into the cold war through the context of one family's experience and exploration of their own father's secret life. Answers some questions but also leaves you wanting to know more and learn more about tit for tat under cover workings of the CIA and the KGB since the 1950s and how this has influenced political moves in the middle east since.
