In front of a roaring fire and Cardiff’s skyline as a backdrop we’ll hear of his days as a commentator on Match of The Day, we’ll also hear of the illness that floored his world in his youth, and of course we’ll hear of his current role as the FAW’s Head of Public Affairs.

Her mother, Sassie Rees, had her own radio and television series, so it is no wonder that Olwen decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a professional singer and actress resulting in a career spanning over fifty years on stage and screen. As the sun goes down, they both settle in front of the fire to reminisce about her upbringing in Caernarfon, the early days of television entertainment in Wales in the 70’s and discuss all sorts from dancing and travelling to the secrets of growing old gracefully.
