  • Episode 33 - Making Guitar Patches w/ Yamaha SG 1500 & Fractal AX8 Bassman and Plexi
    Aug 14 2022

This week I'm refreshing and editing some sounds on my Fractal AX8 and vintage Yamaha SG1500 for an upcoming show. I'm using a Fender Bassman and Friedman Brown Eye Plexi with a bunch of different 'pedal' sounds.

  • POD 32 - Dre Type Beat
    Aug 7 2022

Video for this podcast can be found on YouTube. With the help of OBS I can show my sessions as well as play them and talk about them in real time.

This week, I dive into a new track. Labelled 'Dre Type Beat' because a friend heard it and thought it sounded very 'Dre' - so the name stuck.

Half the episode is sharing the beat, half the episode is a light mix session.

    Thanks for listening/watching.

It's great to have you here.

Welcome to the first video episode of Music In Progress.

You can view it on YouTube. Link Below.

I'm sharing one of the things I've been practicing lately. I came upon this guitar just before the COVID pandemic hit, and I've spent a lot of time over the past few years getting to know how it works.

I still consider myself a beginner, but I'm enjoying the learning process and seeing the results of consistent engagement.

In this episode, I'll share what I know about this amazing guitar, what I've been able to figure out on my own, and even play a prepared piece at the end of the episode.
