  • #90 AI in Math Education: What’s Hype vs. What Actually Helps?
    Mar 11 2025

Let’s talk. Send me a message with your email and I’ll get back to you!

AI is everywhere—but is it actually useful in math class, or just another tech buzzword? 🤔

When ChatGPT first hit the scene, I dismissed it. I thought, "This is just Mathway for English teachers." But after hearing how my colleagues were using AI in creative and time-saving ways, I decided to give it a shot—and I was blown away.

So today, we’re cutting through the noise to talk about what’s hype vs. what actually helps when it comes to AI in math education. 🚀

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

✔️ Why AI is already changing math education—whether we’re ready or not.
✔️ What AI can’t do (spoiler: It won’t replace teachers!).
✔️ Practical ways to use AI for lesson planning, differentiation, and real-time lesson tweaks.

💡 Key Takeaway: AI isn’t a shortcut or a replacement for real teaching, but it can help lighten the load, support differentiation, and make planning more efficient—if you know how to use it.
