  • A podcast for fitness enthusiasts looking for inspiration, guidance and education to develop their mindset for fitness. With so much content online/ social media in various forms and very different levels of experience, I wanted to bring about a trusted ‘one stop shop’ for all; from athletes who have been there, experienced it and delivered. • Nick Butter - The Man who ran the world
    Feb 22 2021

Broken bones, muggings at gunpoint, being locked up, attacked by dogs, shot at, the list continues... The endless tales of perseverance and resilience led this man to accomplish a dream.

The first man to run a marathon in every country in the world.

On November 10th 2019 Nick took the title as the first and only person to run a full marathon distance in every country in the world, and did so in just 23 months. He and his bag travelled alone for 674 days, running 2 or 3 marathons in 2 or 3 countries, every week, for 96 weeks. This huge world record came after over 44,000km of previous crazy expeditions, years of training and plenty of set backs. And he's not stopping there...

  • Jen Orr - Moving the goal posts and world records
    Feb 15 2021

Jen is an ultracyclist, who took up cycling in 2010 when he decided to sign up for her first triathlon. Although she had already been doing some running and swimming, once she started spending some time on a road bike, she quickly found that cycling was her strength and something that she enjoyed more than the other two sports.  She continued competing in triathlons for several years, completing multiple Ironman races. In 2017, she was burned out on the long hours of training for three different sports, and decided to just focus on cycling, and to do it for fun rather than competition. One of her close cycling friends and mentors, Paul Cornish, who set the world record for the fastest ride across the United States in 1973 was killed by a motorist in Oceanside, CA. In the aftermath of his death, another friend persuaded her to sign up for the 6-12-24 Hour World Time Trial Championships (WTTC) in Borrego Springs, CA. With minimal training or preparation, she rode 392.4 miles in 24 hours to take 4th place overall in the solo female division and qualify for solo Race Across America (RAAM).

In 2018, Jen broke the course record at the 24 hour World Time Trial Championships with a ride of 456 miles. In June 2019, she won the solo division of Race Across the West from Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO.

Her goal is to now train and prepare for the race this year and have her sights set on RAAM 2022.
