Miles Davis VII: Beginning Of the End

  • Summary

  • In 1972, Miles Davis's endless touring started catching up with him. He started taking more trips to the beach and fewer trips to the studio and found himself gazing out at the waves and the statue of liberty in the distance. As he pondered thought after thought while popping pill after pill, he decides to retire from music. This decision shook his soul to the core yet brought his body and mind an eerie inner peace. But the peace didn't last for long as he wound up nearly dead just hours later. Was this the beginning of the end? or the end of the beginning? After all, when one story ends, another has just begun.
