Today I wanted to go back with Cliff Hageman and hear the story of 9 years ago when he had the make the decision to amputate his leg after a motorcycle accident that took place at a stop light while the driver of the car that hit him was texting and driving.

I think if there is one thing that you get from this podcast is to have patience with those around us who are dealing with life altering events as he has had to deal with the changes in his own life. What amazing changes he has made in his life and what he has had to overcome after the accident and how he is helping bring awareness constantly to the fact that people of all ages no matter how many accidents happen, are still texting and driving.

Look for an upcoming podcast from Cliff that will talk about his journey and continued journey after losing his leg. That doesn't define who he is, but it's an important topic so that other people going through the same thing realize it life is not over and they can choose to live just as full a life as they did before.
