Mars, Anong Say Mo: Hindi yan Pinoy / Pinay Interracial/Mixed Relationship w Kumareng Beryl and Odin

  • Summary

  • The trend of globalisation has led to societies and cultures that are less and less homogenous. The Philippines for one having a colourful history of colonisation and trade with other countries is a melting pot of cultural influences. Even so there's still a pervasive close-mindedness when it comes to other cultures Filipino society has deemed other. This is especially notable in the practice of marriage and romantic relationships. Here comes our married couple; Kumareng Beryl and Kumpareng Odin, both Filipinos but navigating their experiences differently; one hailing from Hong Kong, the other from Nigeria, later studying and living in the Philippines. They speak of first meetings, joining cultures learning and growing together and their plans for the future. Mars, What Na? is part of the BUNK Collective.
