This is an episode where I talk about my Mastectomy. It's probably a little graphic with all the gross things a person has to go through when having a Double Mastectomy, but hopefully it's informative enough!

An introduction to my cancer healing journey. My name is Willow King, and I'm your host for this Podcast - Make Peace With Cancer.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2019 at the age of 39. I am now 43 years old and no longer have any cancer in my body.

My healing methods are varied, but this Podcast is more about the mindset that goes along with the healing. I believe that you can't heal cancer through anger or fighting, instead, I've taken on a peaceful approach. I've used meditation to talk to my body and cancer and to heal.

So... why do I even think I got cancer? I looked up the spiritual meaning behind different cancers and found that Breast Cancer has an underlining meaning of abandonment. I feel like this resonated with me. I feel like this is definitely my truth and through a new method of 'self parenting', I have learnt to nurture myself.

Please enjoy my first episode! And please bear with me as I get better and better at sharing my message. This is just me in my home - dog barking in the background and all!
