    Three facts from this episode:


    1. The lighthouse and associated buildings were designed by James Barnet and built from 1881 to 1883.
    2. The lighthouse became fully automated in 1976.
    3. The lighthouse and associated site were added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999 and to the Commonwealth Heritage List on 22 June 2004.
