MAKING FRIENDS ON THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO WITH 34 QUESTIONS TO FALL IN LOVE

  • Summary

  • Walking My Way: DAYS 6 & 7: Estella to Los Arcos to Logroño Day 6 in Los Arcos is one I will remember for a long time. It was the first time on the trip I felt an immense sense of peace like I hadn't felt in ages. There is nothing like playing the 34 questions to fall in love with new friends. Very grateful. I'm Ruby, I'm 22 and I live in London. I graduated from Cambridge last year and have been working in TV production since. I'm taking time off work to go on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across France and Spain (I’m doing the full Camino Frances). I will be walking 800 km as a female solo traveller, completely untrained (in fact with a hip injury). This journey has been a dream of mine since I was 15, when I read The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho. I wouldn’t say I’m religious, but I do have some sort of relationship with spirituality, which I am hoping to explore on this trip. Stay tuned for an episode for every day of my journey, which I will be walking for over a month. From the practical, emotional, historical and spiritual, to the deep connections (and blisters) I’m expecting to make, you will hear it all. Buen camino!
