  • Dr. Rajvilas Narkhede started his career with his graduation, MBBS, from the prestigious KEM Hospital and Seth G. S. Medical College, Mumbai followed by post-graduation, MS (General Surgery) from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He further pursued his interests in Gastrointestinal Surgery with his super-specialisation as DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology) in 2016 from Department of GI, HPB surgery and Liver transplantation, Global Hospitals, Hyderabad. 

    During his training, he has gained experience in liver transplantation, laparoscopic and open HPB surgeries, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, and upper GI surgeries. He was also involved in major oncological resections for various HPB malignancies, Upper GI and Colorectal Cancers by open as well laparoscopic methods.

    He has worked as a full time Junior Consultant with Department of GI surgery and Liver transplantation, Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai for 2 years. Following this he helped setting up the department of Gastrointestinal and HPB surgery at Nanavati Superspeciality Hospital , Mumbai and worked there as Consultant before joining Alexis Multispecialty Hospital, Nagpur. He is a member multiple national surgical societies like IASG, IHPBA, IAGES, AMASI, and ASI. He has presented multiple oral paper presentations in national and international conferences. He has also published > 15 research papers in indexed journals.
