  • Despite their separation, in late fall of 1941 Bill and Doreen are looking forward to reuniting over the Holidays. Bill will not make it home for Christmas, but will be home in time for New Years. Doreen's mother is still sick, but tries to stay positive by looking forward to Bill's return.
