Links to Messiah Podcast

By: Rachel Kushner
  • Summary

  • Links to Messiah is where faith, family and the profound impact of the Jewish Messiah converge. Hi, I’m Rachel and was raised in a Messianic Jewish home where my parents ensured that my sisters and I understood our Jewish roots and how the Old Testament all pointed directly to our Messiah, Jesus.

We explore the Jewish roots of the Bible. We discuss the importance of understanding feasts and festivals. We highlight how these traditions are intricately linked to the narrative of the Jewish Messiah.

  • Embracing God’s Comfort After the Death of an Adult Child
    Nov 19 2024

    Send us a text

This is the most emotional and painful podcast I have ever recorded. I prayed, debated in my brain and thought deeply about releasing it. I wasn't sure. I'm still not sure. That's not really true... I am confident it is the right step to take. But it's scary. It's hard. It's the most vulnerable I have been publicly regarding the tragic and unexpected death of our son, David, in March of 2023. I am trusting God to use it for His glory because I am still picking up the pieces and probably will be for years to come.

If you know someone who is grieving, I highly recommend a podcast called "The Grief Mentor." Teresa Davis is the host, and she will always point you right into Scripture and the arms of Jesus. She has helped me and countless other who are grieving the death of a child. Click here to visit her website.

    Send us a text

This was a super fun conversation. I think you're going to love meeting Ali, a 12-year-old from Michigan. She shares her experiences with her family during Jewish holidays, particularly focusing on the activities included in the Fall Feasts box from Links to Messiah. The discussion highlights the importance of hands-on learning through crafts and family involvement in traditions like Passover and Sukkot. Allie's insights into being the middle child and her homeschooling experience add depth to the conversation, showcasing the joy of learning and celebrating together as a family.

    Nov 5 2024

    Send us a text

In this episode, we talk about why Old Testament stories like Noah’s Ark, Moses, David and Goliath, and Jonah still matter today. These stories teach important lessons about faith, courage, and forgiveness. We also share ways to make the stories fun and meaningful for kids. By connecting these stories to the teachings of Jesus, kids can see how faith helps us all face life’s challenges.
