  • Summary

  • The difference between being a leader and a manager … a manager gets everyone to climb the ladder in the right way whilst the leader makes sure the ladder is leaning against the right wall. It’s about vision, direction of travel, and culture. If, as the old saying goes, the fish rots from the head, the converse is also true. In this episode David and Matthew talk about what it takes to be a good leader. Their discussion is wide ranging, touching on everything from Daoist leadership principles of water-like leadership (the idea of Wu Wei) through to more intimate and person challenges and successes that they have both experienced and learned from.
