  • Summary

  • "Pop an Ollie, not Drugs" is a brightly colored graffiti art slogan at Shuddhi Skatepark in Kalimpong Town. Meet Prithviraj Tirwa, the man behind this inclusive public space created for fellow skateboarders.

🛹 Prithvi, also called O.G., is a pioneer of @ktownsk8down (Kalimpong's Skateboarding Community). Listen to his guff about these young people's journey from risky skating on the streets to opening a dedicated Skate Park with the help of the then Superintendent of Police, Aparijta Rai (IPS).

O.G. also tells us about the Skate for Hope initiative that spreads awareness about the rising menace of drug abuse among Youth in the Eastern Himalayas.
