    Dec 4 2024

    Isaiah 9:6, Numbers 15:37-39, 1 Chronicles 16:12

In today’s special Christmas episode, we dive into why traditions are so important, especially during the Christmas season! Using Bible verses, we’ll discover how traditions help us remember—just as God instructed His people in the Bible to remember His works and commandments.

We’ll talk about how different families may have unique traditions, but they all point to the same wonderful truth: Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Savior! Plus, we hear from some of YOU, our listeners, sharing your own Christmas traditions.

  • #353: God’s Mysterious Victory - Elisha part 3
    Nov 27 2024

    2 Kings 3:20-25

Today’s episode continues our journey with Elisha and the three kings. When the Israelites were in need, God performed an amazing miracle—filling the land with water, even though there was no rain! The Moabites, the enemies of Israel, thought the water was blood and believed the armies had fought each other. They charged in, only to find the Israelites ready to fight!

We are reminded of God’s power and ability to work in such mysterious ways. We use a relatable example for kids to show them that God is always with them, actively working in their lives, even in ways they might not see right away.

  • #350:You aren’t alone in your suffering
    Nov 6 2024

    2 Corinthians 1:1-10

In today’s episode, we hear from the Apostle Paul as he writes to the people of Corinth about how God comforts us in our suffering. Paul knew a lot about hard times—he was shipwrecked, beaten, and put in jail! But even in those tough moments, he reminds us that we are never alone, and God is always with us, offering His comfort. We’ll explore what it means to feel comforted by God and how we can share that comfort with others who are going through difficult times.

  • KBS hit by Hurricane Helene update!
    Oct 13 2024

We are safe and well but are still without Internet and cell phone. This makes it quite difficult to upload or edit episodes for sound effects, music etc.

This is not our usual episode but I wanted to get this information out to you as well as encourage the kids from what we have learned during the storm. We have seen God show up in beautiful ways and have seen people be the hands and feet of Christ during it. I hope it encourages kids and reminds them of God's goodness and provision even during storms; whether it's a literal or figurative storm in their life.

We appreciate your patience as we await for some of the infrastructure where we live to get up and going. Please pray for those men and women who have been working 15 hour das on the powerlines, fixing the water system, and those helping the community. Please pray for those who lost everything. So many have lost businesses or homes and most don't have flood insurance because this event was such a rare situation.

You can contact me here https://www.kbspodcast.com/ and know I will respond once I am able to get a signal.
