Journeying #39 with Aidan McCullen, Host of The Innovation Show and Author of 'Undisruptable: A Mindset of Permanent Reinvention for Individuals, Organisations, and Life’

  • Summary

  • I am joined this week by Aidan McCullen, a former professional rugby player, who played with Ireland, Leinster, and Toulouse during his rugby career. Aidan has since reinvented himself in a number of different career transformations. But I came across him first in his capacity as host of The Innovation Show podcast about 4 years ago. I actually would say it was one inspiration behind me starting this podcast.

Aidan has now written a book, ‘Undisruptable, A Mindset of Permanent Reinvention for Individuals, Organisations, and Life’.

The book, I would say, is inspired by the culmination of all the phenomenal guests Aidan has attracted to his show over the last six years - some of the key strategic thinkers of the 21st century.

But for every interview, he actually reads each guest’s book before they come on his show. So, I would say his book could be described as a distillation of all this acquired knowledge, filtered through Aidan’s creative mind to arrive at, Undisruptable, Aidan’s own take on how we need to do business in an increasingly changing, volatile business landscape.

For anyone with an interest in new ideas, or in doing business in VUCA times (that is under Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous times), or who is just a fellow fan of The Innovation Show, this episode is for you!
