Han har også en veldig flott solokarriere som er litt mer basert rundt bluesmusikk, og i 2019 vant han Spellemannspris i blueskategorien for sitt album Permanent Vacation. Vi snakker om det å spille i band med folk du har kjent praktisk talt hele livet, tykke plektere og hvordan Jørgen ble intervjuet av Indisk presse om sitt sitarspill.
