“I am such a big believer in just making sure that everyone has a clear path to vote, everyone has the right to vote, and that everyone who wants to vote is able to vote.” - Bill Werde [Bandier Music Program Director, Syracuse University]
Music Votes is a new coalition of the leading non-profits in the civic and activism spaces created to address voter registration, voter ID laws, and turnout within the music industry. To guide us in the very first Music Votes podcast, Bill Werde, speaks with the many organizations that make up the Music Votes coalition. Not only do these member organizations address the three steps of the voting process, many also tackle crucial non-partisan causes from climate to food equity that you can choose from to support. Join us to hear more about how you can be more involved in the voting process and how to help support and align with the many organizations and the causes they address.
Music Votes was created by the Music Sustainability Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit organization working to bring the music industry together to reduce emissions and waste, and leverage our enormous platform to address the climate crisis.
