Class in America

There were some interesting ideas here. However, by the end it became a self-indulgent examination of the host’s history. It’s also very American centric. There’s little consideration of class beyond income, and some concerns are uniquely American concerns. For example, the lamentation about unavailability of shredded cheese on subsidized food programs seems bizarre to those outside the US. Much more to explore about quality of food on these programs than whether access to pre-grated cheese is a burden for the poor.
