  • Venus Rose Interview | Haus of Creators, working with Central Cee, Rico Nasty, Burna Boy, Working with A$AP Rocky and Lil Durk, Starting a Business
    Oct 28 2024

In this interview, I talked to Venus Rose, a talented creative, and overall dope person. She owns Haus of Creators, a creative agency that helps artists and brands grow and fulfill their vision; they have done work for the likes of Bacardi, Def Jam, Interscope, A$AP Mob, OTF, XXL, and more. Haus of Creators has also been seen on Billboard, Rolling Stone, Complex, Teen Vogue, and Variety. We touched on A.I. Sector as well, a new venture of hers aiming to bridge the gap between creatives and technology. I spoke to her about the photography and interview work that she has done with A$AP Rocky (as well as A$AP Mob at large), Lil Durk & OTF via The Source Magazine; as well as the work that she has done for Luka Brazi/Karim Butler and Alexis Major of GUMBO Brands.

I asked her about herself: where she is from and is now, her influences, growing up around a military base, and more. We also dove into the projects that she has produced for Central Cee, Rico Nasty (including the story behind her iconic "Nasty" self-titled album cover), and Burna Boy (for I Told Them album and "Cheat on Me"). I also asked if she thinks AI will ever become sentient and take over humanity, and what she thinks technology will look like in 1,000 years, lol. I also asked her more about herself/ What are her inspirations, influences, and goals in her life and career? How does she express herself, and where does she want to be in 10 years? She also told me about what it's like being an entrepreneur/starting your own company plus why she started hers. I talked to her about her experience with mental illness and drugs. Venus shared wisdom about balancing an audience's perception with your vision. She also gave us her message to the youth and interpretation of life. Finally, I asked her the age-old question: Who would Win in a Fight, a Gorilla or a Grizzly Bear?
