Welcome to season 3, episode 13 of The Inquizition a podcast for quiz and trivia lovers everywhere. Contestants battle it out to become the Masters of the Inquizition with Irish quizmaster Luke Ryan.
As it was another fine summer evening in Prague, we went to Letna Beer Garden to record.
In this episode, the title comes from some debating about the respective annoyance and importance of wasps, the assholes of summer we believe they should be collectively known by. The quiz has a parks and recreation theme to suit our outdoor location so expect plenty of questions about that.
We have a new round called Going the Distance to tax our trivialists along with some of the usual rounds. Also do you know which country the waltz, mambo or lambada dances come from? How is your trivia about the game, Monopoly, or what sports Moneyball and Happy Gilmore focus on? We also have some science to balance the leisure including some about the Periodic Table.
Also, I may have missed a correct answer by team Reading in the final round, my apologies for that Natalia and Tejas, though it wouldn't have affected the final scores.
There is a bit of background noise as we recorded in a beer garden, so I hope it doesn’t take away from your enjoyment of the episode. Other than that, hope you like it!
Team 1 (Sex) – Christie Elizabeth (Canada), Martina Rúčková and Ivan Rúček (Slovakia)
Team 2 (Reading) – Natalia Skowronek (Poland) and Tejas Gangavaram (India)
