    This was a part of HULI OF CONSCIOUSNESS, a film program celebrating the power of cinema as ritual – amplifying Native Hawaiian, Black American, and diverse filmmakers from Hawai‘i and across the US continent. The participating filmmakers illuminate ancestral wisdom – envisioning futures of healing, liberation, Aloha, and abundance for our future generations.

    The program was created in partnership with Honolulu Museum of Art by Daniel Croix and Meleokauaapuakea Hamasaki in collaboration with Sarah Fang. Featuring guest speakers Dr. Manulani Meyer & Dr. Thema Bryant. Made possible with support from ‘Elepaio Press and Wansalawata Productions.
