When it comes to getting coaching clients, most of us would like to believe in the idea of ‘if you build it, they will come.’
This sounds very nice.
Very convenient.
Very comfortable.
Just let people know that you’re a coach and accepting clients, make a business Facebook or Instagram page, and ‘poof’, you’ll have plenty of people who are interested in hiring you.
Unfortunately many coaching certifications and business coaches paint this picture.
I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but I believe in honesty and transparency, and after helping 100’s of coaches build businesses over the past decade, plus knowing hundreds of coaches and being a part of the coaching industry, I know first hand that this is a bunch of bull shit (excuse my language, but it’s true).
Just like taking a ‘magic pill’ isn’t going to help someone lose weight and keep it off long term (no matter how much people wish this were true), there isn’t some quick and easy magic trick to getting coaching clients in a way that will build a sustainable and profitable business.
But this is the good news…it is totally possible to get clients (in a way that feels good to you) and create a wildly successful coaching business.
It does, however, require that you understand the different parts of the marketing process and have a system in place that works for YOU personally!
In this podcast, I share the keys to getting coaching clients right NOW…because what may have worked well 2, 5 or even 10 years ago is not necessarily what is working well for people now.
