  • It can be said that the popular runner is "overcoming stages". First he begins to run, and each one has his reason (to lose weight, to improve physically, medical recommendation, etc); Later, he is encouraged to run a popular race, which feeds back his desire to run, since he enjoys a great atmosphere with many more people with whom he shares a hobby (a 5K, a 10K, later a half marathon); And, on the horizon for many, he is completing a marathon.

    Facing a marathon is a decision that should not be taken lightly, even if our only goal is to finish it. If our body is not prepared to deal with it, we can put our health at risk. The marathon, due to its long mileage, is a test that in many respects has little to do with the half marathon, since the punishment to which we subject the body is enormous, much greater than in the 21K, and we don't even talk if we compare it with the 10K.
