How To Make Friends In College

  • Summary

  • Are you having a hard time making friendships that actually last more than a couple weeks? Have you moved to a new city and you're starting all over, and now you're a little rusty?

Today I'm going to talk about the way Covid lockdowns have prematurely aged teenage brains, and disrupted the friendship making process.

I'll also talk about ways to combat this change, and how to make friends in college. l'll discuss different clubs and activities offered around campuses, as well as how to use the city itself to make friends. At the end of it all I'll discuss an interesting paper only recently published that details the changes to the brain cCovid lockdowns had on teens and young adults.

The paper discussed in today's episode is called, "Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Mental Health and Brain Maturation in Adolescents"
