    Dr. Tommy Chang is an education leader who serves as the Senior Advisor for Strategy and Programs at Great Public Schools Now, a non-profit organization in Los Angeles that invests in schools, organizations and initiatives that catalyze excellence in public education. He also brings shares his expertise to school districts and educational organizations across the country through his own consulting practice- Leading with Equity & Innovation. Dr. Chang has served many roles in public education- most recently as the Superintendent of Boston Public Schools. Prior to his work in Boston, he was the local instructional superintendent of the Intensive Support & Innovation Center at the Los Angeles Unified School District. He is a former biology teacher and high school principal.
