  • Summary

  • In today's episode, Maeve speaks to multi-disciplinary artist Hormazd Nariewalla. This is an invigorating conversation that takes place at the home of the permanent collection of his work, JP Hackett on Savile Row. Born in India, Nariewalla's work is a mix of collage, print-making and sculpture which originate on the surfaces of antique, vintage, and bespoke tailoring patterns. For this year's Art In Mayfair, Hormazd has extended his residency at Hackett’s Savile Row and has filled the atelier with colourful homages to tailoring. In this conversation we hear about his strong work ethic, the spiritual connection between clothes and their wearers, and the powerful advice given to him by Sir Paul Smith.
