  • Gratitude Changes Us
    Nov 22 2024
Did you know, according to an article by UCLA Health, practicing gratitude helps reduce depression and anxiety, it improves sleep, and even improves heart health?

There’s so many benefits to taking a posture of gratitude!

    1 Thessalonians says,

Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thankfulness is a form of inwardly rejoicing, being humbled by the gifts we’ve received in our lives. God is the giver of all those good gifts. He is the one worthy of our gratitude, worthy of our rejoicing.

Maybe it’s been a while since you talked to God. Ask God for what you need and thank Him for the many blessings in your life. Listen then for His voice, and know that He loves you relentlessly.

Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.

  • The Great Giver
    Nov 21 2024
We can so easily believe the lie that God is a taker, not a giver, especially when pain walks through our door, or grief, or disappointment.

When our world falls apart, we wonder… what kind of God are you? You might be like me, and you pray, God, I used to believe that you were a giver, and now I’m worried that you’re a taker.

How do we re-orient ourselves? There’s only one way. Look at HIM. Remember what He has done. Remember who He is. Remember what He’s promised. Remember that He is the ultimate giver.

He gave everything- His very own son. He knows you, and He loves you. And He says, I’ll never leave you.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • Father of Lights
    Nov 20 2024
Where do the good things in your life come from?

You may think that the good things in your life happened as a result of your hard work and dedication. Or through the kindness of others, but there’s so much more to the story.

There’s someone who sees you and He knows you, and He loves you. Someone who has a good plan and purpose for your life.

    You know, it is God.

    The Bible says,

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Your life and the blessings you’ve experienced are not a coincidence. God is the source of all good things and He is drawing you to Himself.

You can ask Him today to make Himself known to you. Just say, “God, I want You to be the Lord of my life. Reveal Yourself to me. Help me to know You. Thank You. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.
