    In today’s episode the founders of Her Tech Tales are all gathered again to talk about what we learned from our fantastic guests since we started our podcast on international women's day. What were the biggest teaching moments, what surprised us that the guest said and what will we take with us into our daily life.

    The Her tech tales trio also gives you insight into how it was to start a podcast in two weeks and what were the scariest parts for us. We also share some personal stories and things that have happened in our lives the last few months and tell you a bit about what is our plans for season 2 after the Summer break.

    We welcome Marianne Sandmæl to Her Tech Tales this Friday. Marianne is a change management guru, working with digital collaboration and technology at Coop, one of Norway's largest grocery chains.

    Marianne is truly a people person, driven by working in teams towards strategic goals and getting everyone to use new technology. Her focus is to use proven methods to make her coworkers change the way they work. When she was young, she played handball and at the age of 11-12, kept a statistics journal on her performance in games and training sessions to improve - proving she was a goal oriented person from a young age. Marianne shares her experiences from studying pedagogy to entering the IT world and has many valuable tips to offer. Have a fantastic listen!

  • Horses, cloud and leadership

    This week we talking to a real power woman, the Country Leader of Nordcloud in Norway, Therese Olafsen Mørck. Therese has worked in Tech since 2007 and thinks that you can’t find an industry more dynamic!

    We get to know that Therese had a lot of responsibilities at a young age, and through this has learned to “just get things done”. She is also very open about being able to make mistakes as a leader and learn from them. Nobody is perfect 😀. She also admits that she is not the typical “techie”, but that there are roles in tech for so many of us - just learn, adopt and you will find your way!

    In today's episode we meet, Katinka, a driven and goal oriented woman. She has always known what she wants and is following her passions. She talks about her experience with completing a full-time internship whilst in university studying for her business and tech degree.

    She is now working for Microsoft with generative AI and modern workplace solutions. Katinka explains that she was thrown into the deep-end, but manages to swim just fine.

    Learn more about this strong, ambitious (even though she just goes with the flow and does not have a five year plan) and positive young lady and how she got into tech and why she loves it!

    Even though Katinka has always worked hard, she gives great advise around not taking everything too seriously. Her advise to students: exams are not everything!
