Happy Halloween from IYHGYHE! The Kitchen Table Sessions Featuring Deb Knight Part 1

  • Summary

  • Happy Halloween Ghosties! Here it is, the first part of a two part interview with my other Mom Deb Knight. Deb is a descendent of several distilling families in Orange County, Indiana and just one of the best good people who ever existed. One night a few weeks back she came to visit Kim, Penny, and I and we enjoyed homemade vegetable soup, cornbread, coffee, and maybe a bit of whiskey. Deb brought both the food and great stories to the table. Here she touches on her stories growing up in the Hoosier National Forestry. Topics include UFO's, Dead Cattle, Ritual Circles, and High Strangeness. We have been looking for Hoosier stories like this and to get them directly from someone we love so much such as Deb is truly something special.

A huge thank you to Deb, it took a lot to tell these stories and it is very brave. We think you will enjoy it as much as we did and maybe you or a loved one know of similar happenings and would like to share at bishopshomegrown@gmail.com

We recorded this litterally at the kitchen table using my mobile recording gear, as such the sounds of domesticity in our house are an inherent part of the recording process. To boot, I was getting over a severe sickness at the time and sound terrible, but the content is what matters!

Please have a happy and safe Halloween. A part 2 will be uploaded later this week as well as a bonus episode with Deb on the Day Of The Dead!
