We have seen the threat to the early church from the religious leaders who from the outside tried to stop the apostles from speaking in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Today we see another threat that comes from within. When the impurity of deceit and hypocrisy surfaces in the church, it is a threat to her unity and the power of her witness.
