About Brigitte:
Brigitte loves to empower others to take charge of their health and live in line with their values. She is the author of the book Flow in the Kitchen: Practices for Healthy Stress-Free Vegan Cooking. On her website veganfamilykitchen.com. she teaches workshops about all aspects of plant-based cooking and nutrition. She offers a meal planning service and is known as a batch cooking wizard! Before deciding to change careers to teach healthy vegan cooking, Brigitte trained as a sociologist of education and managed research projects in academia. Aside from a PhD in education, she obtained a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the University of Guelph. She lives in Vancouver (Canada) with her husband and two kids, all of whom are very active and always hungry.
