This episode of the podcast has a very special guest in the form of my cousin Taylor Cox. Taylor is originally from just outside of Chicago but has moved to Los Angeles and has created an amazing career in the entertainment industry writing and producing for such incredible projects like “Girls 5Eva”, “Miracle Workers” and “Abby’s”. Currently Taylor and her husband Mike are on strike as they are members of the WGA so that is a big topic of the podcast along with understanding how she can be so calm without work while being 7 months pregnant! We also get into talking about her own podcast “Hills I’d Die On”, crazy costco purchases, and some sage advice for raising their son when he arrives.

  • Mike "No Name" Nelson
    Jul 6 2023

On this episode of the podcast, I get to sit down with one of the legendary voices of my generation when it comes to the Bay Area Radio scene from such radio stations as Alice, Live 105, & KFOG, I am talking about Mike “No Name” Nelson. It was so much fun catching up with No Name and getting a chance to hear his story and how alternative radio was back when he was beginning to make a name for himself. We also talk about how Creepy KOFY Movie Time came about and just how nuts it really was, we touch on the subject of his wife’s breast cancer and what she is doing to give back to others who are surviving or going through what she is going through, but more importantly the origin of the on-air moniker “No Name”.

  • Shaun Bivens & Dennis Willis
    Jun 22 2023

On a very special episode of the podcast, I not only get to sit down with not only Dennis Willis but also Shaun Bivens! Shaun is part of many musical projects including The Quart of Blood Technique and Shauny B. Fresh and can be seen on many episodes of Soundwaves TV. Speaking of Soundwaves TV, we are actually hanging out in Dennis’s kitchen for this episode, so of course we had the man behind Soundwaves TV on the pod. A big thank you to Woodside Deli for once again making some bomb sandwiches which we enjoyed while we spoke about past jobs, the music industry, Shaun’s book, and a whole lot more!
