From the Poustinia: A Daily Prayer Podcast

By: Nathan LeRud
  • Summary

  • A simple way to build a bit of silence and chant into your day. "From the Poustinia" features a simplified service of morning prayer using the resources of the Book of Common Prayer (1979) in plainsong chant. I also draw on the Episcopal Church's "Hymnal 1982", the Plainsong Psalter and other resources. Each day features a chanted psalm, a reading from scripture, often a short reflection or guided spiritual practice, followed by prayers and silence. Join me in praying from the Poustinia.
